The Uplifme Resource Hub (URH) is Uplifme’s nonprofit, preventing and solving homelessness through 100% free comprehensive resource navigation. URH partners with the Tenant Union Resource Network (TURN) to interrupt the cycle of homelessness and set you up for success. We start by listening to you, understanding the strengths, desires, goals, and needs that you and each person in your household have/has.

From there, we immediately share resources and supports that can help you with your specific journey. Whenever possible, we also connect you with a free computer, free or low-cost Internet, free YMCA membership, and free furniture for your home!

You and your dedicated resource navigator will meet online at least once a month, at a time that works best for your schedule. You will talk about your goals and progress, any questions that you might have, and of course, help with whatever you need.

We also offer online workshops, twice per month, through a 12-month learning program. Our topics include:

  1. Housing
  2. Employment and Job Training
  3. Education
  4. Health Insurance and Benefits
  5. Technology Access and Understanding (Computers and/or Internet)
  6. Home Furniture
  7. Exercise and Wellness
  8. Parenting, Caregiving, and Family Support
  9. Childcare
  10. Eldercare (Caring for older adults)
  11. Intellectual Disability Services
  12. Mental Health
  13. Intimate Partner Violence/Domestic Violence
  14. Substance Use Recovery
  15. Finding Community and Developing Friendships
