Early Education
OECE oversees a range of programs and initiatives aimed at supporting early childhood education providers, educators, families, and children from birth through kindergarten. PHLpreK funds free, quality pre-K at over 225 centers throughout Philadelphia. All children who are 3 or 4 by September 1, 2023 and reside in Philadelphia County are eligible. There are no income requirements for participation in this pre-K program.
