Information We May Collect

We may obtain this information from an application or registration or such other form you have completed, or from information you have given Uplifme in a consultation and/or survey.  In addition, we may also collect information from consumer reporting agencies, and may include your marital status, employment history, income, assets, credit score, credit history, open lines of credit, and the size of your household.

Enhancement of Profile Information

We also obtain publicly available data from third parties to supplement our existing user database to better target our advertising and to provide pertinent offers in which we think you might be interested.  To enhance our customer profiles, we tie this information to the personally identifiable information they have provided to us.

How Your Information Is Used

We use your personal information primarily to provide you with the products and services you request, and to conduct the business of Uplifme and to improve our business methods and processes.  As permitted by law, we may also share your personal information with select partners with whom we have joint marketing agreements in order to provide you with a variety of products and services. We may also use your personal information to market or determine your possible interest in products and services that the other related Uplifme companies offer.  You may also receive other promotional and/or non-promotional information related to our business.

We may share your personal information with other related Uplifme companies. We will not disclose your personal information to anyone outside of the related Uplifme companies unless: (1) we have received proper consent from you; (2) we are legally permitted to do so; or (3) we reasonably believe, in good faith, that we are legally required to do so. In order to protect the confidentiality of your personal information, including personal information that we have disclosed to a third party pursuant to this Privacy Policy, we take appropriate measures, including requiring each third party to execute an appropriate confidentiality agreement governing the use of such information and only allowing access to the information for a limited purpose. Responsibility of Contributors
If you continue to the blog, comment on the material to the Website, post links on the Website, or otherwise make (or allow party to make) material available by means of the Website (any such material, You are entirely responsible for the content of, and any harm resulting from, that content. That is the case regardless of whether the content in question constitutes graphics, an audio file, or computer software. By making content available, you and warrant that:

•    you have, in the case of content that includes computer code, accurately categorized and/or described the type, nature, uses and effects of the materials, whether requested to do so by Uplifme or otherwise.

By submitting content to Uplifme for inclusion on the Website, you grant Uplifme a world-wide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, modify, adapt and publish the content solely for the purpose of displaying, distributing and promoting your content. If you delete content, Uplifme will use reasonable efforts to remove it from the Website, but you acknowledge that caching or references to the content may not be made immediately unavailable.

Without limiting any of those representations or warranties, Uplifme has the right (though not the obligation) to, in Uplifme’s sole discretion (i) refuse or remove any content that, in Uplifme’s reasonable opinion, violates any Uplifme policy or is in any way harmful or objectionable, or (ii) terminate or deny access to and use of the Website to any individual or entity for any reason, in Uplifme’s sole discretion.  Uplifme will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid.

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law if we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, for fraud detection or prevention and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or other legal process.

Security of Your Information

Uplifme protects the personal information you provide against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, loss or misuse. Your personal information is protected by physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in accordance with federal and state standards. These safeguards include appropriate procedures for access and use of electronic data, provisions for the secure transmission of sensitive personal information on our website, and telephone system authentication procedures. Additionally, we limit access to your personal information to those Uplifme employees who need your personal information in order to provide products or services to you.

Your Right to Opt Out

Providing us with access to your information permits us to offer you distinct advantages and better service.  Using your information helps us tailor product offerings to you and eliminate those that may not interest you. This helps us keep expenses low. Unless you tell us otherwise, any related Uplifme company may use your nonpublic personal information from records maintained by one of the other related Uplifme companies for marketing purposes.

However, if you do not want other related Uplifme companies to use your personal financial information for marketing purposes, you may simply let us know by opting out. If you opt out, we will not use your personal information to notify you of new products, services or enhancements, nor will it be available to other related Uplifme companies for marketing purposes. It will, however, still be released as permitted or required by law. Please note that we cannot withdraw any previous disclosures made with your authorization.

Former Customers

If your customer relationship with Uplifme ends, we will not destroy your personal information unless required or permitted by law.  We will continue to treat your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
