Through strategic partnerships with organizations such as the streets department, police department, and the school district, Puentes de Salud ensures that residents have access to essential resources. Their holistic approach to healthcare includes a unique food access program, aptly named the “food pharmacy,” which provides culturally competent food options to individuals in need.

At the heart of Puentes de Salud’s mission is community trust. By actively involving community members in program development and outreach, they have established a strong foundation of trust and support. Volunteers play a crucial role in their operations, with over three hundred volunteers contributing their time and expertise last year alone.
